Catch up

Its been a while. It always is. So here's a catch up to what we've been doing.

Mila just turned one years old! Crazy how fast that went, but I am loving the season we are in right now with the kids. Its easier to go places and be mobile now that we don't have a tiny baby, etc. Mila has been on whole organic milk for a while now and has done great on it. She also eats regular table food just like everybody else.  She sleeps through the night about 1-2 times per week and wakes at least once the other nights. Mila will stand on her own and get herself in a standing position from the floor, but then sits as soon as she gets off balance. No attempted steps on her own yet without holding onto something or someone's hand.

She weighs about 19lbs and wears 12-18 month clothing and size 3 shoes.

The boys have started Fall soccer and are loving it! This has really been their year for sports and seeing them improve so much and really starting to enjoy the game. We spend 4-5 nights a week at the soccer field these days.

They both have also adjusted really well to school and getting back into that routine.

Sis also started preschool twice a week this year. And let me just say, this girl loooooves preschool! She would go every single day if she could. She hugs her teacher probably at least 10 times in the 3 hour period she is there.

And the teacher adores her just as much! They are buddies!

We have family pictures coming up in 2 weeks. I've been trying to coordinate outfits and I think I may have it together. The girls are both wearing these dress:
with either ivory/white or aqua long sleeved shirt underneath, tall socks and brown boots.

I'll be wearing this shirt:
with skinny jeans and brown boots. This material matches some of the material on the girls' dresses.

Boys will be wearing Navy button up shirts, jeans and brown boots.

Hubby is wearing White button up shirt, jeans, and brown shoes.

I just ordered the dresses so I will lay it all together when it gets here.

In other news, I've been trying to eat mostly Paleo and its been great! My stomach issues have been better, the bloat is gone from my stomach, and I just feel better all around. I do have some grains or dairy every once in a while, but its not a daily thing. I've been able to fit into pants that were tight just a few weeks ago.

I'm excited with my progress and feel better in my own clothes. It's nice to feel confident about yourself!

Hubby and I have also talked about becoming foster parents in our county. It will take us a few months to complete the training and all the paperwork. But I am excited for this new chapter and to be able to make a difference in a child's life. It will be hard, but I work in this field. I will just have to make sure we don't take kids from cases that we have at our agency. I see so much negativity and kids what just need a good, loving home. I hope we can be those things for a child in need!
